Our story

Walk with Berbers is a family run tour operator based in the Sahara desert, Morocco.
Going back for centuries our ancestors Berbers were born and raised in the Sahara, as Nomads we travelled across the Sahara for trade. We have now though settled in a village in the Draa valley called Tagounite in southeast of Morocco.
Our knowledge of the Sahara and the mysteries that it holds encouraged us to create our business arranging Saharan treks with camels to imitate the lives of our ancestors in our area.
We are passionate about our country, the Sahara, our history, our culture, and our way of life and we would love to share this with everyone.
We offer trekking holidays in the Sahara desert and the Atlas mountains. We can also arrange private and tailored cultural tours for singles, couples, families and groups, throughout Morocco, highlighting the best of the imperial cities, old medinas, Atlas mountains, Kasbahs and the Sahara desert.
